5/12/12

The following are public reports made by the Sacramento Police Department

Suspicious Vehicle, Northview Dr / Nordyke Dr, 1357,
While officers were checking the area for a robbery suspect, they contacted an unrelated subject, Deandre Reed, 27, who was found to be a parolee at large.  He was booked on his warrant without incident

- Subject Stop, Traction Ave / Plaza Ave, 1222,
Officer contacted Carlos Silva, 41, during a bike stop.  His ankle monitor had been removed and was booked on a parole violation

- Attempt Pick Up, 3800 block of Willow St, 1320,
Officers coordinated with State Parole Units in attempt to locate a possibly armed suspect.  Upon entry, multiple subjects were detained inside the home.  Two of those subjects were found to have parole violation warrants.  A third subject had a felony warrant.  All three were taken into custody

- Attempt Pick Up, May St / Grand Ave, 1918,
Police contacted and arrested Tomas Norse, 29, on outstanding warrants as he was attempting to leave in his vehicle.

- Robbery, 3000 block of Bridgeford Dr, 1952,
Victim was walking when he was approached from behind by a male Black adult armed with a handgun.  The suspect took the victim's I-Phone then fled in a tan colored sedan occupied by two other male Black adults.

- DUI, Natoma/Northgate, 2031,
A caller advised a vehicle struck a pole and the driver was possibly intoxicated.  The driver, Alyssa Sanchez, 18, was determined to be under the influence and was booked for DUI.

- Assault, 1700 block of Auburn Blvd, 1700,
Victims got into an argument with a known subject, Gary Dupont, 34 who was making threats and swinging a knife.  One victim was able to fend off Dupont with a small baseball bat until police arrived.  Dupont was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and threats.

- Sexual Assault, 100 block of Dragonfly Cir, 0015,
Police were called regarding a sexual assault between two juveniles.  The 17-year-old was arrested without incident.

- Stabbing, 1300 block of Del Paso Blvd, 0154,
Police were called to a large fight of approximately 20 people where subjects were using various objects as weapons.  Two subjects were stabbed during the incident.  Their injuries were non-life threatening.

- Burglary, 1500 block of W El Camino Ave, 0510,
Police responded to a ringing alarm call at a gas station.  The suspect entered though the roof and took items.  The suspect was described a male White.

- Robbery, 12th St / E St, 1303,
Victim was leaving a convenience store when he was confronted by a subject in a vehicle that took is money via gun point.  A license plate was given to police for follow up.  The suspect was eventually contacted and interviewed.  It appeared the victim and the suspect were known to each other and this was a disagreement over payment involving drugs

- Burglary, 6500 block of Blanche Dell Dr, 1305,
Victim was called by a neighbor advising subjects were breaking into his home.  As the victim arrived, a subject was seen fleeing from his front door as two others fled out of the back.  The victim was able to detain one of the intruders.  As he was doing so he heard the sound of gunfire from behind his home.  Officers arrived and took custody of the 15-year-old suspect.  Casings were later found in the path of the other fleeing burglars. 

- Assault on on Officer, 4600 block of Broadway, 0857,
Police responded to a call of a suspect, (Linda Anderson, 55) refusing to leave a business. While contacting Anderson, the officer obtained her identification. Anderson lunged for her ID back and a struggle ensued.  The suspect was eventually detained, but not before striking the officer in the face with her hand.  The officer obtained a small cut on his chin.

- Stolen Vehicle, 8th Ave / 41st St, 0830,
Police spotted two subjects getting out of a parked car, which came back as stolen.  As the officer attempted to detain the pair, the driver fled a short distance.  The suspect eventually stopped and was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle.

- Assault, 6400 block of Stockton Blvd, 1155,
Police assisted security who was dealing with a large fight in a business parking lot.  There were initial reports of a subject having a gun, but no weapon was located.

- Casualty, 1200 block of P St, 1538,
Officers conducted a welfare check on a subject who was reported missing.  Officers located the missing person deceased in his apartment.  There were no signs of foul play.

- Probation Search, 1700 block of F St, 1535,
Officers conducted a probation search of suspect Leslie Gamble, 26, who was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and a narcotics pipe.  She was arrested without incident.

- Sex Assault Report, 2300 block of Stockton Blvd, 1835,
Officers took a sexual assault report involving two juveniles and a family member.  The investigation is ongoing.

- Attempt Pick Up, 4100 block of 33rd St, 1904,
Police located and arrested Armando Heredia, 34, with the assistance of police K9.  Heredia was found hiding inside of a bathroom.

- Shooting, 2800 block of J St, 0205,
Police were called to a gas station that was filled with cars.  An employee called 9-1-1 advising a male, Black adult with dreadlocks was firing a gun from the passenger's side of a dark blue Maxima or Altima.  The suspected parties fled the area prior to police arrival.  There were no reports of injury.

- Suspicious Subject, 8300 block of La Riviera Dr, 0305,
A female called advising that she awoke to a stranger in her bedroom.  The suspect was described as a male, Black 19-years-old.  The victim's son was able to detain the suspect until he police arrived.  The subject was intoxicated and entered into the wrong home.

- Assault, 15th St/F St, 0041,
Two male victims were walking when they were confronted by two other men.  One of the subjects called the victim sexually derogatory names and began to physically assault him.  The suspects then fled the area in a black colored SUV.  The victim sustained minor injuries.

- Burglary, 100 block of Ferncliff Ct, 1022,
Victim called police advising his house was burglarized.  CSI was called to process the scene and a report was taken.

- Theft, 4100 block of Sea Drift Way, 1532,
Victim advised someone grabbed his money from out of his hands and fled in a tan, older model Ford T-Bird.  The victim was not located by officers upon their arrival.

- Warrant Arrest, 1900 block of Newport Ave, 1634,
Officers received information that a known subject had a warrant for his arrest.  Officers contacted and arrested the 17-year-old outside of his home without incident.

- Shooting, 100 block of Monaghan Cir, 2013,
The 17-year-old victim was standing outside with two acquaintances when a white colored pickup truck drove by and fired several rounds towards them.  The victim was struck multiple times as well as a vehicle parked next to them.  The victim suffered non-life threatening wounds.  Gang Enforcement Officers responded to assist in the investigation.

- Assault, 2100 block of Meadowview Rd, 2254,
Victim advised her mom and her boyfriend got into argument and decided to intervene.  The boyfriend alleged the son pulled a knife on him so he choked him out in self defense.  Based on physical evidence the boyfriend was arrested for assault against the son.  All parties had been drinking.  Arrested was Miguel McGrigg, 32.

- Traffic Accident, 7200 block of Greenhaven Dr, 0421,
While handling a call for service, an unrelated subject backed into an officer's patrol vehicle, causing minor damage.  The other party was intoxicated and arrested for DUI.
